We maintain an extensive inventory of compression garments for the maintenance of Lymphedema. We offer Off-The-Shelf and Ready-To-Wear compression garments, as well as custom-made garments made to fit your exact measurements. We are Certified Fitters for all of the major compression garment manufacturers in the industry, and if you need a custom compression garment, rest assured, we can meet your needs!
When purchasing new compression garments, we recommend the purchase of two sets of garments. Having two interchangeable garments allows you to wear one garment while laundering the other. This increases both compliance and clinical effectiveness of managing your Lymphedema.
Please note that the typical lifespan of any compression garment is only six months. This limited duration is due to a breakdown of the elastic qualities within the garment material. The loss of elasticity within the garment results in decreased clinical effectiveness in managing your Lymphedema long term. As a result, we recommend replacing your compression garments every six months, or twice a year.
Fluctuations of limb girth and volume is a real possibility, especially with a loss of elasticity of compression garments over time. In order to ensure the best fit and optimal clinical effectiveness, we recommend that semi-annual reassessments of girth and volume be performed. The benefit of frequent reassessments allows for the proper fit of any replacement compression garment and ensures that it will be both comfortable and maximally effective.
