As San Diego's only Oncology Rehabilitation specialty practice offering comprehensive Lymphedema and Cancer Rehabilitation services, we are very unique in the services we provide our clients. Because our practice is limited to the treatment of Lymphedema and Cancer Rehabilitation, we have completed additional academic and clinical training in the fields of Oncology, Lymphedema, Manual Therapy and Exercise Physiology so that we can offer the most advanced treatment options to our clients.

Both Dr. Tammy E. Mondry, DPT, MSRS, CLT-LANA and Dr. Joe Mondry, DPT, MSRS, CSCS, CLT completed their Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA, the allied health affiliate of Harvard Medical School. They both obtained their Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. In addition, they both are Certified Lymphedema Therapists as well as Certified Cancer Exercise Specialists, having completed their training at the University of Northern Colorado's Rocky Mountain Cancer Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Tammy Mondry is board certified as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist recognized by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). Dr. Joe Mondry is a board Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Having these unique qualifications and specialized expertise has allowed both Dr. Tammy Mondry and Dr. Joe Mondry to present lectures on the subjects of Lymphedema and Cancer Rehabilitation at various medical conferences, medical schools, colleges and universities, as well as for physician groups and hospitals. Both have provided informative lectures to cancer survivor support groups in the San Diego area as well as at community events such as Cancer Survivorship: San Diego!

In addition, Dr. Tammy Mondry has published a number of clinical reasearch articles on the topic of Lymphedema and its treatment for some of the most prestigious medical journals in the world. She is the only Doctor of Physical Therapy to have been published as the feature cover article for CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians in the journal's extensive and illustrious history. As a result of her dedicated research efforts as a private practitioner, she was nominated for the Lymphatic Research Foundation (LRF) Lymphatic Research Leadership Award.
